A mid-19th century oak-cased eight-day drop dial wall clock; the twelve-inch cream dial with Roman numerals and signed 'JAS Hancock - Yeovil' and surrounded by foliate carving in relief, the U-shaped and glazed aperture flanked by carved acanthus, the twin fusee movement striking on a gong, with pendulum and key (68cm high x 41cm wide x approx. 19cm deep including convex glass)

The dial looks in pretty good order with no major problems, the carving is quite nice, the case looks good. The kidney shaped glass aperture is in good order and looks like the original engraved pendulum and two panelled side doors that also appear in good honest original condition etc.
