18TH CENTURY SCHOOL, PUTTO HOLDING A BOUQUET OF FLOWERS, with fabric draped over one shoulder and seated on a tasselled cushion, oil on canvas, unframed and lacking stretcher, possibly cut down from a larger painting, bears monogram in the area below feet, approximately 82.5cm x 67cm (Condition report: in need of extensive restoration, there are lots of vertical tears including down the centre of the painting, either side of the putto's head and in the corners, also lots of areas of paint loss, the reverse of the canvas shows staining)
