A LARGE EASEL BACK PHOTOGRAPH FRAME, c.1910, apparently unmarked, of horizontal oblong form, stamped and pierced with scrolling foliage enclosing a central vacant cartouche, with original bevelled glass, inner dimensions 7 1/2" x 21 3/4" (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)
Unable to find any marks, but there may be some under the years of paste cleaner which has clogged up the backing. Top left lacks some pins and so is a little loose, new blue rexine , original green velvet hinged back, strut probably replaced, very heavy glass with chips/losses to all corners, but these do not show when in frame. Frame back requires attention. This is the largest frame I have seen of this nature and keep searching for marks...
