A smokebox numberplate, 48662, from a LMS type 8F 2-8-0 No 8662 built to Railway Executive Committee order by the Southern Railway at Eastleigh and allocated new to Westhouses on 8 July 1944, moving two months later to Toton and to Burton in 1959 before finishing its days at Colwick from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 12 November 1966 and sold for scrap to Drapers at Hull.
