A fine early Regency period brass inlaid walnut and mahogany Bureau Abbatant, the fall front opening to reveal a nicely figured walnut interior with an arrangement of drawers, pigeon holes and central cupboard, also fitted with drawer, the inside drop front inset with a ratchet writing slope, on a base with one long and two short drawers on turned legs, 58" x 38 1/2" (137cms x 98cms).
