A worksplate, BR DONCASTER 1960, AEI, EE, from a BR Class 86 electric locomotive. Those built by BR at Doncaster in 1965 were E3101-E3130 which were later renumbered, some more than once, in the 86XXX series. Cast aluminium, 8½"x5¾", in ex loco condition, the top corners broken at the fixing holes. (Postage Band: B)
