** VERY RARE IMPERIAL NAVAL POSTCARD; 5 July 1942 Imperial Navy PC [U-139] from a member of the 11th Construction Unit (building an airstrip) at Guadalcanal and sent from Truk to Japan. U-105 framed h.s. of Rabaul also on front and an exceptionally rare example as the US Marines arrived four weeks later. Three examples believed to exist and a major Exhibition item.
