An antique musical automaton under a glass dome, two monkey musicians, a violinist, and a cello player, perform under a rustic arch, with a tree in the background on which are perched colourful and over large birds. Probably by the firm of Phalibois, Paris, circa 1870. 49cm wide, 64 cm high, 20cm deep.
Overall good condition, minor surface wear consistent with age, mechanism partially functioning
