Pistol: Great War Hebel Signal Pistol, the standard flare pistol of the Imperial German Army. Backstrap officially stamped 'B.R.J.R 1 Nr 9' which translates as:- Bavarian Infantry Regiment: Jaegar Battalion 1st.: Weapon number 9. The Jaegar (Hunter) Regiment were elite rifle troops. 1st Royal Bavarian Jaegar Bn. were the 1st Regular Bn. Good grips, no losses. In g.w.o. and condition. With D/Act. Cert. Scarce with regimental markings.
