Uranium. 1915 Stampless P.O.W envelopes with violet oval "PRISONERS OF WAR / RYDE, I.O.W / 28 APR 1915 / H.M.T "URANIUM"" and "C.G.H / CENSOR", or sent after the ships move to Southend with red oval "PRISONERS OF WAR / 25 MAY 1915 / H.M.T "URANIUM"; and a P.O.W envelope from Southend, all with Post Free P.C cachets. Also a 1916 cover from Germany to a P.O.W on the ship, sent nearly a year after the prisoners were moved to camps; and 1916 P.O.W envelope from Stratford with the "C.G.H / CENSOR" cachet that was previously used on the "Uranium" and "Lake Manitoba". A good lot, the two named cachets very scarce. (5). Photo on Page 100.
