A nameplate, LEATON GRANGE, from a GWR 6800 Grange Class 4-6-0 No 6821 built at Swindon in January 1937 and named after a country house two miles west of Wrockwardine in Shropshire. At Newport Ebbw Junction by January 1948, its later sheds included Laira, Oxford, Pontypool Road, St Philips Marsh, Bristol Barrow Road and Llanelly from where it was withdrawn in October 1964 and sold for scrap to Hayes at Bridgend on the following 12 January.
