A German 1st Model Luftwaffe Dagger with Hanging Chain by Weyersberg. 31cm double edged blade with markings of: Solingen, Paul. Weyersberg & Co. Three bar curved cross-guard with gilt swastika. Black leather grip with interwoven gilded wire and sun-wheel swastika on the pommel. Black leather scabbard (some wear) with patinaed silver tone mounts and chain hangers. Note: One of the chain mounts and circle links has been replaced. In overall good condition for its age but as always please see photographs. Total length in scabbard. 48cm. Given to a British Veteran from a widow of a Polish WW2 fighter pilot.
