A mid 19c English mantel clock. The single fusee movement has shouldered plates and a round topped silvered dial engraved with swags and having Roman numerals. It is contained in a mahogany round topped case with central stepped plinth surmounted by a gilt pineapple. The sides have fish scale sound frets and the base has bun feet. The front door and canted corners have brass inlays. The clock stands 41cm tall overall.
