AN EXCEPTIONALLY LARGE 19TH CENTURY MEISSEN HARD PASTE PORCELAIN TWIN HANDLED POLYCHROME BASKET OF FLARED OVAL FORM
Having a pierced border, interior well painted in iron red with Chinese symbols, exterior decorated with two panels of floral sprays, encrusted with flowerheads and enriched gilt on an Alpine white ground, bearing underglaze blue crossed swords mark, impressed pattern no: 508, raised on four organic shaped feet.
