AN EDWARD VII 1821 PATTERN ROYAL GARRISON ARTILLERY SWORD. With an 83 cm single edged, pointed and fullered blade, well decorated with an artillery piece and the thunderbolt, lightning and winged motif with 'Royal Garrison Artillery' above and below. Marked for 'J. R. Gaunt & Son Ltd late Edward Thurkle Denmark St, Soho.' Numbered 12067 to the back of the blade. With a three bar grip, shagreen covered wire bound grip and domed pommel. The steel scabbard with twin ring suspension. 102 cm overall.
