A George II walnut bureau bookcase, second quarter 18th century, the moulded pediment above two panelled doors, enclosing adjustable shelves and small drawers, two candle slides, fall front enclosing fitted interior, two short and two long drawers, on bracket feet, 216cm high, 103cm wide, 57cm deep
scratches, stains and old gouges throughout, some veneer missing, some lifting to veneer, the hinge on right door needs replacing, various size splits, piece of wood from bottom left side of top section needs repairing, one hinge on the fall front has snapped and needs replacing, structurally sound
