A George III silver coffee biggin by Matthew Boulton, Birmingham 1814, of slightly bulbous cylindrical form, the domed part reeded pull off cover with reeded finial, fully hallmarked and engraved with a crest, gardooned rim, part reeded body, scrolled fruitwood handle, set on a collet foot, engraved armorial for the MacFarlane Clan and slogan 'Loch-Sloy', with unauthorized crest to revise, 21cm (8.2in), 556.2g (17.8oz) Th engraved armorial for the MacFarlane clan, a crest to reverse:
