Susannah Margaretta Makeig-Jones - (Daisy Makeig-Jones) - An early 20th Century original watercolour on paper depicting a seated Turk in robes before a screen with incense stand with plumes of smoke and lanterns, with turrets to the distance, to the foreground a pillar and flowering tree, the whole heightened in gold over a dark ground, full monogram to the jardinière to the foreground, in original gold mount with chequered border, 20.5cm x 12.5cm, framed and glazed.
The work and mount are in very good order, the slim black frame is original but does show some age related wear and knocks.
