An 18th Chinese export Armorial dish, Qianlong (1735-1796), centrally decorated with a coat of arms and motto stating 'Virtutis Gloria Merces', polychrome decorated with gilt highlights and cobalt banding, 12cm wide

More Information

No obvious chips, cracks or restoration. Underglaze moulding flaws are visible when closely inspected. Gilt wear can be seen to the rim, borders and centre. Some further enamel wear to the centre. Some light surface scratching.
