A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 7230, REBUILT STRATFORD WORKS 1903 from a Great Eastern Railway F6 Class 2-4-2T No 1 which became LNER F6 Class 2-4-2T No 7001 and was renumbered 7230 in 1946, becoming BR 67230. It was re-boilered in October 1923 which the LNER classed as a rebuild. It spent its BR days at Colchester, Lowestoft, Ipswich and Stratford from where it was withdrawn in May 1958 and cut up at the nearby Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
