The service to comprise two lidded tureens, seven dinner plates, six starter plates, a small gravy jug, six bowls, six teacups and six saucers, a cream jug, twelve cake plates, and four small pots. Marked to base Portmeirion Pottery, designed by Susan Williams-Ellis, Stoke on Trent, 'Magic City', some numbered 2283 some 4331. Dinner plate to measure approx. 27cm diameter, tureen 19cm tall and 23cm in diameter.
