A 19th century Indian fine cream wool embroidered cape, probably made for the European market, embroidered in panels of silver metallic thread in an ornate vertical design with turquoise embellishments and lined in black satin, 100cm long from neck to base

The wool fabric is in good condition. The silver embroidery is bright and untarnished. There are a few minor stains which may sponge off.
Some turquoise beading is missing. 70cm maximum width across shoulder.
