A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1892 HORWICH. Locos built by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway at its Horwich works in 1892 included 1008 Class 2-4-2T, many of which survived into BR service numbered in the 506XX series, and 11 Class 0-6-0, many of which survived into BR service numbered in the 521XX series. Cast brass, 10½"x6", cleaned and the front polished. (Postage Band: B)
