A VERY FINE & RARE IRISH LIMERICK SILVER SOUP LADLE, circa 1780 by Thomas Burke, impressed with STERLING mark and maker’s mark twice to the reverse of the stem. Engraved to the tip with a ship emblem; possibly relating to Jameson family. Thomas Burke was located in Quay Lane in 1784, and Bridge Street Limerick between 1789-1792. Length: 35cm. Weight: 182grams.
