The canvas has been lined. There is an old repair (approx. 5cm) to the upper right quadrant which corresponds with a patch (verso). Some undulation to the canvas, particularly lower right quadrant, which is possibly a result of the lining process. Craquelure and surface dirt throughout. Inspection under UV does not reveal any flaring, however it is presumed there is some due to the aforementioned area of repair, and this is being obscured by a thick varnish.Please note Dreweatts is not responsible for damage to frames.
