Rare late Georgian engraved glass hare coursing tankard, circa 1800-20, cylindrical form with moulded horizontal bands and engraved with a figure exclaiming in a speech bubble 'Now Skip' whilst pursuing two dogs, the front dog rapidly gaining on the hare, height 16.5cm

There is a crack running from the rim to the side of the handle to approx. 2cm above the foot rim. This crack has associated chips, both on the rim and beneath the upper part of the handle. There is the odd scratch, a few air bubbles within the metal and pinprick nicks to the foot rim.
