Three 19th Century slate mantle clocks comprising: 1) A two-train French 8 day movement striking on the hour and half hour, stamped Medaille d'Argent 1855 Vincenti & Cie (with pendulum and key) in a slate case with broken arch supported by corinthian columns, white enamelled dial with Roman numerals, bevelled glass with brass frame door. H 27cm, W 25cm, D 14cm; 2) A two train 8 day movement striking the hour and half hour, with no makers mark, in a French Empire Revival style slate case. The brass dial with Arabic numerals in circular reveals, a bevelled glass and brass framed door. The monumental case with deep plinth, decorated with carved gilt scroll work supporting a body with decorative columns, semi-circular corinthian columned palladium to each side and a pediment with a gilded brass mask - all surmounted by a slated dome with acorn shaped finial. H 40cm, W 40cm, D 11cm; 3) A similar clock with scrolled, gilt brass columns and acanthus leaf scroll work, the dial having a gilt brass centre depicting a Greco-Roman scene, with an ivorine chapter ring bearing Arabic numerals. H 30cm, W 39cm, D 14cm. (3)
