A vintage British Army General Staff-pattern mess uniform consisting of jacket, waistcoat, trousers and boots. Jacket is scarlet wool with black facings and Brigadier's rank on gilt-edged epaulettes with reserve "R"s. Black waistcoat with Royal Engineer buttons. Trousers are high backed with button fly/waist fastening, braces buttons, leather under-boot straps and 2" scarlet wool stripe.
