19TH CENTURY ADVERTISING / WORCESTER PORCELAIN INTEREST, two porcelain plaques of rectangular cartouche shape, foliate scroll gilt borders, the first marked for George Grainger China Works, with pale pink ground and inscribed 'Indispensible For the Toilet & Nursery CLIFFTS TROTTER OIL POMADE, UNIQUE For laying the basis of a good head of HAIR', height 18cm x width 26cm, the second with a blue ground and inscribed 'CLIFFTS NUTRITIVE CREAM For the growth of the HAIR', unmarked, both with two suspension holes, height 18.5cm x width 25cm (2) (Condition report: the pink plaque has a small chip to the lower back edge, some wear to the lettering and slight discolouration in places, the blue plaque has a large chip, crack and glued repairs in the top left corner, wear and discoloration to the blue ground)
