A 19th century Chinese Celadon and Ormolu mounted table lamp base, all over scrolling leaf and vine decoration, tied ribbon and wreath handles, stepped foot, 40cm high
Without removing the ormolu mounts I cannot ascertain for certain whether or not this has been made as a lamp, or is comprised of a cut down vase. But it would appear to be a cut down vase, as such the top rim and base would have been cut back, and the mounts applied.
As a lamp, the item is in fine condition, with no chips or cracks. Some small wear to the ormolu mounts, but overall good condition.
