A Chinese bronze Buddhist lion censer, Edo period (18th / 19th century), the seated lion with head raised and mouth open, the head detachable, dark brown patination, 3¼in. (8.2cm.) high; together with a Chinese bronze mythical beast finial, probably from a censer, 2 3/8in. (6cm.) high, one front leg missing; and a small Chinese bronze figure of a water buffalo, with dark brown patination, 2in. (5.1cm.) high. (3) - Lion censer: Good condition - expected wear to patination to base and edges. - Finial:One front leg is missing. Otherwise, surface dirt and some verdigris spotting. - Buffalo: Good condition, with no faults. Possibly later patination.
