A substantial sterling silver tea service hallmarked for London 1814 by Thomas Wallis and Jonathan Hayne, comprising a large tea pot and a very large sugar bowl: the tea pot, with partial fluted decor and set on ball feet is of 632g approx weight and dated 1814; the twin-handled sugar bowl of barge type set on ball feet and with matching partial fluted design to the teapot, 285g and dated 1813. Total weight approx 915g.
