A large Chinese bowl with hand painted scenes of rural life, including a mother and child, figures farming and Chinese architectural structures and interiors, surrounded by a decorative gilt border of scrolling flowers and foliage. The rim has three panels decorated with birds on cherry blossom branches. Approx. 15 ½'' high.
