"Aegasteroceras", a Jurassic period ammonite, on block, with white-milk chocolate calcite infill, horny-brown shell in patches, Brachiopod on lip, Lower Lias, Sinemurian Stage, Fridingham Ironstone, Conesby Quarry, Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, height 12cm.
Diameter of ammonite 8cm. Good overall condition. Natural flaws. Partial brown layer. Ammonite has not been worked.
