An early 19th Century German music manuscript album, manuscript pen & ink title: 'Zwolt Deutscher Lieder, von Carl Muechler, mit Begleitung des Fortepiano's oder der Guitarre von Carl Friedrich Ebers.', following leaf with pen, ink and watercolour illustration and m/s name above "Auguste Bretsel", followed by 24 pages of m/s musical notation and lyrics, oblong (20 x 33cm), contemporary card wraps, with a corresponding manuscript invitation card dated 1829; together with a manuscript album written by friends on leaving Germany circa 1830, and a finely bound manuscript album with various dates to contents in German, all relating to Cossmann family, who appear to have emigrated from Germany to Nova Scotia circa 1830's (3)
