Pair of Art Deco Bookends in the form of Marabou Storks on books
A unique pair of hand carved wooden bookends. Each one having two stained black wood books, with brown painted stork with red glass eyes.

The Marabou Stork is also known as the "undertaker bird" due to it’s scavenging diet of carrion and it’s shape from behind resembling an undertaker -

cloak-like wings and back, skinny white legs, and the sparse white head feather’s looking like the wispy hair on a bald man’s head
