A late 19th century Stevenson & Hancock (Derby) porcelain figurine, modelled as Dr Syntax walking, black suit and tricorn hat, a/f missing cane, on a circular base, puce painted mark, 13cm, together with an 18th century porcelain figurine, modelled as a gentleman hunter, wearing a blue jacket and striped breeches, leaning on a tree stump with his rifle, powder flask on his belt, and shoulder bag containing game, dog seated to his right, on naturalistic bocage base, unmarked, bears paper label 'Derby Huntsman', a/f head detached and repaired, 14cm.
