A VERY EARLY 19TH CENTURY SILVER BOWL DECORATED WITH REPOUSEÉ FLORAL & FOLIAGE DECORATION ALL OVER, raised on a low rise stem base, a beautiful piece of silversmith work shown in the decoration. Hallmarked; no city emblem; suggesting hallmarked in London, date letter ‘I’ with right facing George III sovereign’s head; 1804. Maker’s mark a little rubbed but the initials are SD – so perhaps Samuel Dutton or a smallworker Samuel Davis. Dimensions: 9.5 x 5cm (W x H). Weight: 110grams.
