Parisian silver gilt clear glass scent bottle, circa 1880, hinged top with original stopper, engraved details to the silver with traces of original gilt, 11.5cm, in original fitted case
some rubbing to the original gilt finish. There is a scratch to the glass on one side, being approx. 3mm long. The piece is stamped but the marks are unclear. The hinge works well. No cracks or chips found. No damage to the inside neck. The stopper is original and in good condition. When viewed through a 10x loupe there are fine surface scratches to the mounts, the odd tiny knock. The top closes tightly. The box is in good condition with minor rubbing to the extremities and on the underside. Closes tightly.
