A scratch built wooden model of the Wilson Shipping Line SS Erato, with rigging and spars, mounted on a plinth, 76cm.
Erato was a steam merchant of 1,335 tons, completed in1923 for Ellerman's Wilson Line Ltd of Hull. She sunk by U-126 on the 27th July 1941 on route from Liverpool to Gibraltar.
