A George V 1897 pattern Indian Army officer's Royal Military College Anson Memorial Sword for General Proficiency, December 1913, by Wilkinson, number 46777, the blade etched with presentation inscription, the hilt with "GRI" cypher and bullion knot, in its steel scabbard, GC (polished bright overall, the blade worn with some pitting, making the inscription difficult to read). Although not named this is believed to be the sword of Geoffrey Horsburgh Lane, who was killed in action in Mahsudland in December 1919. £300-350
