Militaria, World War 2 / WWII / WW2, Africa Western Desert Campaign: After Snaffles (Charles Johnson Payne, 1884–1967), a monochrome print entitled Last Gun in Action depicting a Royal Artillery battery with 25pdr gun firing upon German tanks at the Battle of Gazalla (Tobruk, Libya 1942.) The mount with dedication to Miss A. Knighton and signed by the soldiers of the battery. Together with a hardback book, Fourth Indian Division, by Lieut-Colonel G. R. Stevens OBE, pub. MacLaren c1945, signed by the author, with further dedication to Miss (Audrey) Knighton, the leather bound cover with personalised gold tooled lettering (2)
