c.1900/1910, an attractive tortoiseshell fan, the monture gilded, mounted with a silk leaf, painted in pastels with a young lady dressed in pink, accompanied by a cherub, the latter playing a pipe, seated in a leafy glade, a church with pointed spires in the background, plain gauze to the verso, guard approx. 23.5cm
In good condition, of good quality. Seen from behind, the bone ribs have slight foxing, but this is not apparent from the recto.
