Superb Scrapbook of the 1930 British & I Lions Tour: Magnificent, large, 15" x 10" x 3.5", heavy, gilt titled, dark blue quarter and corner leather-bound, professionally produced cuttings scrapbook, made by a NZ company for the Lions. This is Gordon Bonner's copy, containing all the most prominent coverage, written and glossy photographed, from the newspapers and magazines on the NZ leg of the 1930 tour. There are spare pages, and a determined purchaser could finish the job by using the cuttings available from both NZ and Australia in our lots 94 and 95, to make perhaps the only such complete record pf this mammoth trip nearly a century ago.
