Alley at The Treasury, Zanzibar, franked 1c, hexagonal framed "T" with manuscript "35ctms", bearing 1c + 20c dues tied by Zanzibar datestamps (Mar. 18). Item 21 in the Griffith-Jones listing, illustrated on page 327 of his handbook. Fine and an unusual combination of dues (instead of a single 21c), the 1c value rare on cover, with just six covers recorded bearing this value. S.G. D1,11, £240 as stamps. Photo on Page 258.
