A LATE 19TH CENTURY ROSEWOOD MARQUETRY INLAID FALL FRONT FIRE PURDONIUM, with a raised three quarter gallery to the top over an open shelf with lovely string inlaid detail and bevelled mirror back, the curved sides flank the central fall front door; that opens to reveal the lined interior – ready to hold your fire fuel – be that coal/logs etc. The front decorated with a lovely marquetry inlaid floral & foliage detail and a handsome brass swing handle; to each side a further handle to assist with moving the piece around. Dimensions: 75cm tall x 44cm wide x 35cm deep.
