* This occasional book was given to Frances Phoebe Lefroy by her Brother Anthony Cotterell Lefroy (A.C.L.) who lived in Ashe Rectory, Hampshire. They are the grandchildren of Madam Anne Lefroy (1749-1804), friend and confidant of Jane Austen. Included inside the pages is an 1828 pencil sketch of Ashe Rectory by J C Lefroy
