An early 19th century Military flintlock musket and original socket bayonet; with lock mechanism by Meredith, brass fittings. Reputedly the musket was used by Militia to put down a "riot" in 1833 at Bodens Lace Factory, Castlefields, Derby, A/F, missing the round head machine screw that secures the hammer to the lock mechanism
