Fine Victorian gold snake bangle, hinged in six sections, engraved with scrolls, the head with cabochon ruby and rose diamond eyes, the hinged jaw enclosing a locket, probably 15ct, c. 1850, 25g.
The internal diameter is approximately 38mm x 45mm - difficult to measure. Very approximately 26cm on the outside, without strain it can be opened to form an approximate circle of 8cm and will fit a large wrist.
