Charles I (1625-1649) shilling, mm. lion, York Mint. Obv. bust in plain armour, rev. EBOR above square-topped shield. A truly sublime example with prominent bust, sharp reverse and with much bloom in hand. Despite being of low weight (4.41g) this sure to appeal to collectors of all types and represents a rare opportunity to acquire such a beautiful piece.
